Aleksandra Grys

Aleksandra Grys is an accomplished ballet dancer currently serving as coryphée at the Grand Theatre in Łódź. She began her training at the Polish National Ballet School in Bytom, where she honed her skills from 2004 to 2013. Aleksandra holds a master’s degree from the Medical University of Łódź, demonstrating her dedication to both arts and academics.

 

Throughout her career, Aleksandra has showcased her versatility and artistry through a wide range of solo and ensemble roles. As a soloist, she has captivated audiences with her performances in leading roles such as “Displaced” choreographed by Joshua Legge, “Face the Truth” by Grzegorz Brożek, and “Promise Land” by Grey Veredon. Her ability to embody diverse characters and styles is evident in roles like Mela in “Promise Land,” MM and Ghost of Love in “Casanova” by Grey Veredon, and various roles in productions like “Snow White” by Witold Borkowski and “Nutcracker” by Giorgio Madia.

Aleksandra’s contributions to the ballet world extend beyond her performances on stage. She has participated in numerous workshops and international dance conferences, including engagements under the “TWINS 2010” project held in Germany and France, and the prestigious International Contemporary Dance Conferences hosted by the Silesian Dance Theatre in Bytom. These experiences have enriched her artistic perspective and contributed to her growth as a dancer.

As our Audition Director, Aleksandra Grys continues to enrich the world of ballet with her exceptional talent and commitment to the art form, leaving a lasting impression on audiences and peers alike.
