Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing alongside the full international professional cast are local Roanoke children from Valley Dance Productions. As dance educators Valley Dance Productions brings laughter, music, fun and dance into the lives of children. The schools help students explore the world of creativity through movement, music and dance with positive reinforcement. Dance helps develop a sense of self-respect, discipline, leadership and poise. These attributes will provide a solid foundation for a child’s future endeavors.

Valley Dance Productions is located in the heart of downtown Roanoke with two separate studios, and offers classes for dancers of all ages (including adults), beginner through advanced. For those who desire to take their dance education to the next level, they also have performing companies: “Junior Company” for the young dancer and “Senior Company” for the advanced dancer.
