Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Chattanooga: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium at Tivoli Theatre! Chattanooga’s premier performance venues include the historic Tivoli Theatre, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium, and Robert Kirk Walker Community Theatre. These Civic Facilities provide Chattanoogans with the finest in entertainment and cultural events such as full-scale Broadway and theatrical productions, ballets, music concerts, comedy shows, as well as community events. The venue’s mission is to provide safe, attractive, and accessible public venues that invite both active participation and passive enjoyment of entertainment, cultural, and educational programs.

For over 90 years, these City of Chattanooga Civic Facilities have served as the hub of the Performing Arts in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Civic Facilities serves over 200,000 patrons annually with the finest in entertainment and cultural events. Civic Facilities also provide low-cost opportunities for over 30,000 students from Hamilton County and surrounding counties to experience education through the arts. For many of these students, this is their first time visiting a performance venue like the Tivoli Theatre.

Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing alongside the full international professional cast are local Chattanooga children from Ballet Esprit Modern Ballet Theatre Collective and School, is committed to serving its community by offering preprofessional quality training in classical ballet and classical modern dance education within a holistic environment through Revolutionary Principles of Movement, complementing all traditional styles implemented in our syllabus, such as ABT, RAD, Cechetti and Vaganova and other genre of dance such as character, jazz, contemporary and neoclassical.”
