Hailing from Almaty, Rafael Urazov boasts an illustrious career as a Principal Dancer at The State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Almaty since 2008. His talents have earned him prestigious accolades, including the Laureate and Prize Winner title for the Ballet Competition “Spring” in Almaty and the top honor at the First International Ballet School’s competition “ORLEU” in 2008.
Rafael’s artistic prowess knows no bounds, evident in his laureate status at the international Ballet Competition “Shabyt” in Astana, and as a Special Prize holder in “Arabesque” at the IBC in Perm in 2010.
In 2012, Seoul, South Korea, recognized his exceptional abilities, awarding him the Artistic Gold Winner title in the Korean International Ballet Competition (KIBC). The judges at KIBS were so impressed that they granted him a Work Contract at the prestigious National Theatre of Singapore.
Rafael Urazov’s brilliance shone at the Moscow International Ballet Competition “Bolshoi Theatre,” where he showcased his extraordinary talent. Notably, he received a grant from the “Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and was invited to perform at various esteemed public events.
This gifted dancer was an honored participant in the first International Festival of the Republic of Kazakhstan, further solidifying his place as a remarkable talent in the world of ballet.
