Tucson Partner Ballet Studio: Flor de Liz Dance

Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing along side the full professional Russian cast are local Tucson children from Flor de Liz Dance. At Flor de Liz Dance, the studio embrace’s the individuality each dance student brings to its classes. They believe in earning the respect and support of the students. The dance students work towards developing sound technique, versatility, poise, discipline, and self-expression in the various dance disciplines: ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop/jazz, and tap. The culmination of this hard work in class is showcased by two annual performances: a Winter and Spring Showcase. The Winter showcase is held in the Stevie Eller Dance Theater at the University of Arizona and the Spring Showcase is held in the Proscenium Theatre at Pima Community College. This is a great performance experience for the dancers, and the camaraderie shared by the dancers and parents make these events unforgettable. Accomplished artists and professionals in the field of dance teach the classes and this studio offers Tucson residents a friendly, professional alternative to competition schools.
