Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Chicago: The Rosemont Theatre! The Rosemont Theatre has become one of the most popular of its kind in the country since opening its doors in 1995. Located in the Rosemont region of Chicago, the theater is constantly hosting Broadway and other theater productions, concerts, corporate events, and private parties. It boasts a superior sound system and grandiose interior. Performers to grace the Rosemont stage have included Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, and Stevie Nicks, as well as Broadway productions of Mamma Mia! and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing along side the full international professional cast are local Chicago children from Plainfield Dance Academy. The acronym PDA stands for more than Plainfield Dance Academy - it also represents the school's three philosophical pillars; Passion, Dedication, and Artistry. That trio of words plays right into the studio's raison d'être, which is to introduce students of all ages to the therapeutic and creative power of dance. And to that end, a team of passionate and experienced instructors lead classes that range from classical ballet to modern and hip-hop, ensuring everyone can find a style that's best suited to their temperament, interests, and unique style.
