Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Fort Myers: The Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at Florida Southwestern State College! Mann Hall features the largest proscenium stage in Southwest Florida and is a 1,874-seat facility that presents National Touring Broadway musicals such as: The Phantom of the Opera, Disney’s The Lion King, Les Misérables, WICKED, Jersey Boys, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring The Rockettes® and The Book of Mormon. Additionally, the Mann Hall is host to prominent entertainers, dance performances, popular ensembles and classical music concerts year-round. The venue is also available for business conferences, seminars, meetings and wedding receptions, with dining availability.

Dancing alongside the full international professional cast are local Fort Myers children from Angelic Academy. Angelic Academy offers students dance and various forms of performing arts providing fun and rewarding activities and helping students grow as individuals. Instructors provide positive reinforcement to help students develop their talents. Owner Lara Demetriades has a life-long passion for the arts and studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, baton, vocal, drama and modeling. She has over 40 years of performing, directing and teaching experience and has directed many award winning teams, soloists and title winners at regional, national and international levels. At Angelic Academy there are programs and classes for all ages and levels and the staff is trained to use positive reinforcement along with correct technique to bring out the best in each student.
