Welcome to the home of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet in Great Falls: The Mansfield Theater. The Great Falls Civic Center built in the 1930s under the Works Progress Administration created by Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s presidential order and funded by Congress with passage of the Emergency Relief Appropriation Act on April 8, 1935. Almost every community in America has a park, bridge or school constructed by the agency and the City of Great Falls has the Great Falls Civic Center as a result of the WPA. The plush Mansfield Theater, located at the front of the Civic Center, showcases its historic elegance through intricate architecture and acoustics that are unrivaled in the state. The intimate 1,782-seat venue is adaptable for concerts, ballet, grand opera, road shows, country and rock music spectaculars, musicals, stage productions, travelogues, conventions and lectures.

Nutcracker wouldn’t be Nutcracker without the local Children’s cast! Dancing along side the full professional Russian cast are local Great Falls children from the Live 2 Dance Studio. Live 2 Dance Studio offers Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Hip-Hop classes for children of all ages. There are classes for dancers who just love to dance and classes for dancers who want to compete with their dancing. Classes run from September to April with a recital at the end of the year. The studio also offers workshops during the summer, and ballroom lessons for adults. Live 2 Dance Studio partners with Beach Body making the studio open to adults who want to work out during the summer.
