About Wallingford's Host Studios

The objective of Fitness Fusion and Dance is to provide a creative environment where students have a tremendous amount of fun and learn new technique, while enhancing their self-expression, self-confidence and acquiring a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Dance is a fun way to exercise, but also provides other wonderful benefits such as coordination, balance, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle. Fitness and Fusion is committed to providing high-quality dance classes to enhance students’ overall development. It provides a safe and child-centered environment to encourage their students to explore dance with qualified, nurturing teachers. The school believes that dance training encourages young people to develop a positive self-image increasing awareness of their physical being. Along with improving coordination skills and developing muscular awareness, dance classes give children the freedom to express themselves through movement.

Dance Artists Ballet Academy was awarded Best Dance School 2017 in Shrewsbury Massachusetts. The school is a Royal Academy of Dance registered dance school teaching the International Benchmark University Accredited Dance Programs. About the Oakdale Theatre

In 1996, the current Oakdale Theatre was built, transforming the old in-the-round theatre into the gracious theatre by adding a 4600-seat theatre with a proscenium stage that would now rival any entertainment center in the Northeast.  With the new shape came the big stars: Sting, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Robin Williams, Coldplay, Josh Groban, and Jerry Seinfeld, to name a few. The new theatre also afforded Oakdale to present Broadway sized shows as the new stage was able to hold the large sets. 'Riverdance',, 'Grease', 'The Producers', 'Seussical', 'Movin Out' and more were all part of the Broadway Series that ran for 10 years. The old alfalfa field that turned into one of the regions premier concert venues has seen its share of stars. The next time history is made at Oakdale, will you be there?
