Viktor Davydiuk – Ballet Master

Introducing Viktor Davyduik, Choreographer and Ballet Master for NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet

Viktor Davyduik’s vibrant, new choreography for NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet is a hit! He expertly weaves together classical ballet, great storytelling, acrobatics, and whimsical puppets to tell the enchanting tale of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince.

A master storyteller, Davydiuk’s innovative choreography, which debuted in 2023, combines the timeless charm of classical ballet with an exciting contemporary flair. This is seen in his new interpretations of the Spanish, Chinese, Slavic, and French variations in Act Two and his complete restaging of the Waltz of the Flowers.

His meticulous attention to detail and emotive choreography for Nutcracker Magical Christmas Ballet brings an exhilarating freshness to the adventures of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they venture through the Snow Forest into the Land of Peace and Harmony, NUTCRACKER! Magical Christening Ballet’s unique setting of Act Two.

As an outgrowth of his work, he is founder and artistic director of the Davydiuk Dance Company in Poznan, Poland. His new neoclassical ballet “Van Gogh” will premiere in September 2024. His video project “10- 30 Seconds of Dance” created during the 2023 NMCB tour features Ukranian ballerina Elena Pechenyuk.

His original works created in Poznan include “Trojan” with music by Gabriel Kaczmarek, Hayden’s Oratoria “Seasons” for the Brigette Festival in Talin and Johanna Strauss “The Bat” for Poznań Exposure Theater.
