Apr 10, 2019

Announcing the Great Russian Nutcracker Gift of Christmas Tour – get the very best seats now and guarantee a family holiday experience that all ages will treasure!  And this spring….

While the Great Russian Nutcracker is a traditional holiday season performance, there are many elements present in the ballet reminiscent of spring: The colorful costumes, the Waltz of the Flowers and the Palace Rose Garden backdrop all evoke thoughts of blooming flowers and the vivid colors of spring. Springtime is full of many gifts, from longer days and warmer weather, to baby animals and chirping birds. At Moscow Ballet, we have a few gifts of our own that we think pair well with the season.

NEW Imperial Russian Egg Necklace

 Imperial Russian Egg Necklace

The history of the royal Imperial Russian jeweled egg dates back to 1885 when 50 eggs were made for Russian Tsars, Alexander III and Nicholas II, to give to their mothers and wives as Easter gifts. Inside of each egg was a unique surprise, revealed to the owner when opened. Moscow Ballet’s brand-new Imperial Russian Egg Necklace is made of a 20 inch sterling silver chain with Swarovski elements and opens to reveal a surprise of its own!

DIY Nesting Dolls
